Tlou Kubjana from Polokwane city now studying in Cergy, France

 

Tlou Kubjana from Polokwane city in the Limpopo province is a French Government scholarship holder 2017/2018. He has a BSc degree (Mathematics, Statistics and Applied Mathematics) and BSc honours degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Limpopo. He has also graduated with a joint Master’s degree in Mathematical Sciences with a specialisation in mathematical finance from the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS-SA) and the University of the Western Cape.

 

Tlou has been admitted for the Master’s program in Quantitative Finance and Risk Management (QFRM) at EISTI (École internationale des sciences du traitement de l'information) in Cergy, France for the academic year 2017 / 2018. EISTI ranks amongst the highest hierarchical engineering schools in France with an international focus on excellent foreign engineers seeking an international career in the domain of finance. Tlou hopes and beliefs that this French degree will develop and enhance his career as either a quantitative finance analyst or a doctoral research candidate in the quantitative finance community.  Apart from the educational excellence of this program, Tlou recognises the opportunity it offers to gain French linguistic skills and learn about the French culture through daily interactions. “I am so looking forward to explore and enjoy my stay in France, it is quite an over-excitement feeling as this is my first journey to go outside the African landform.”
